LITTLE WORLD ATLAS

Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This document describes the use of the Little World Atlas app and its website. It covers the features of the current app version.

1. About the app

Little World Atlas is an educational world atlas for iPad and iPhone. It shows selected locations connected with animals, legends, volcanoes, impact craters, gold and diamonds. The app includes descriptions, illustrations, photographs, read-aloud stories and satellite views. The app supports English, Polish and German.

2. Download and licence

Check the App Store product page for availability, price and compatibility requirements. The app does not require an account and has no ads or subscriptions. Selected additional layers may be offered as a one-time in-app purchase. The price is shown before confirmation, and the purchase can be restored through the App Store.

The app distributed through the App Store is subject to Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. This description does not replace that licence or the Apple terms applicable when you download the app.

3. Learning and safety

The map is for learning and discovery, not navigation or travel planning. Locations and borders are simplified. Markers show selected examples, not the complete distribution of animals or minerals. Legends are stories, not verified historical events.

A location on the map does not mean that it is safe or open to visitors. Mines, volcanoes and wild animal habitats may be dangerous or inaccessible. Children should use the app in a way appropriate to their age, with a caregiver’s support when needed.

4. Photos and rights to materials

Photographs and geographical materials may come from external creators. Author, source and licence information is available in the app. Each material’s licence continues to apply; the app does not transfer ownership of those copyrights.

Captions distinguish specimens from a particular place from example photos. Not every photo of gold, diamonds or animals was taken at the location of the map marker.

5. Feature availability

The world map, descriptions and included photos are stored in the app. Satellite views use Apple Maps and need an internet connection. Recordings of stories and descriptions are bundled with the app and played on the device. If a recording is unavailable for a particular item, the app may use an Apple system voice. External services may be temporarily unavailable.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app works, stores settings and uses external services.

7. Help and reporting problems

The app’s developer is Piotr Truszkowski. Contact: contact@littleworldatlas.kids. Include the place or feature involved and briefly describe the problem. Please do not send a child’s personal data or other information that is unnecessary for resolving the issue.

8. Updates and your rights

Features and content may change through updates. Significant changes to these terms will be described on this page with an updated date. Nothing in this document excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.
